#Add bones in anime studio pro 10 pro
(And for the record, I'm using Anime Studio Pro 5. In case it helps, here's a screen shot of what I've done. So that's what I'm trying to figure out- why I can't get the image to work, and how I can get it working. In the tutorial it shows an image outlined in a number of tiny boxes, as you can see in tutorial 3.1 "Bone Binding", but it doesn't seem to say how you can get those box outlines around an imported image that you created. Because I have a number of images in a group, perhaps I need to tell each Bone which image they're "connected" to or "bound" to- which is briefly gone over in the tutorial. I assume I missed a step somewhere, or didn't do something right.

The left arm Bone, for example, would move but the left arm image would not. However, while the selected Bone moved just fine, the image would not move with it.

Than to see if it was working, I attempted to manipulate the Bones. Than I tried to set up the skeleton by connecting the Bones (arm, head, waist, ect.). Lastly I created a Bone layer and dropped the group of images onto the Bone layer. There's a head, torso, waist, left bicep, right bicep, and all the rest. I've imported a number of images from Photoshop which I've used to build a body. I've read through the tutorials on the Anime Studio website, and watched some of the guides, and I've read through the FAQs here on this forum. 0.This is without a doubt a "newbie" question, but, well, I am a newbie. In the final animation, the bands should be above the tree, but under the tree gradient, so that it looks more beautiful.įirst frame of the animation. If you can play the AVI file in QuickTime on a Mac, you should be able to import it into Anime Studio. What is wrong? Why is the tree getting distorted? (3) AVI Import works on Windows, and on Macintosh systems depending on codecs. In addition, I added much more points to the tree and the gradient of the tree. I created a group layer with masking set to "hide all" and I created the tree layer, but I can't set the tree to "add to mask". I tried it like you said, but I don't get it to work.

Anime Studio Debut (US50, 30-day free trial) can also animate based on edges of drawings and in many other ways. You can then animate these bones, and you can adjust their strength to behave more like real bones. You use a tool to add bones to the structure of a drawing. But now I have much more time to create the animation. Anime Studio Debut is an off-shoot of Smith Micro's 2D art program, Manga Studio. With the tree below the bands in the group, set the tree to "add to mask". Put it in a group/bone layer with masking set to hide all, and put the tree and bands on different layers. How can I do the clipping with Anime Studio? Synthsin75 wrote:AS does not support clipping in imported SVGs, but you can use what it does import to duplicate the clipping with AS masking. It might be easier to use the flexi-binding. You also don't really need to bind all the points. You need to place some relatively equally spaced points on both sides of the tree shape so the center bone can also influence points to create a smooth blend. You are basically only moving the top points creating a stretch instead of a bend. When you bend it, that center area has no points to create a smooth bend.

Your tree shape only has points at the top and bottom. It doesn't "warp" the shape like an image warping type thing, it can only "bend" based on the location of points. The tree needs to bend where there are points. Also there aren't enough points in the center area. They seem almost randomly placed and aren't symmetrical. look at where the points are on the tree shape. To get the effect you want with the shading on the sides of the tree, I would use the shading or halo effect with a high blur.Īs for the tree not bending correctly. Gradients don't "bend" with bones the way you expect.
